Vanheerdea divergens

Description

Vanheerdea divergens is a succulent plant, native to South Africa, specifically the Northern Cape Province.  It’s known for forming tight clusters or mats of 20-40 branches, featuring purplish-green bodies and sharp, serrated keels. This species is a winter grower, typically dormant during the summer when conditions are dry, but it can continue growing if water is available.
