Shopping & Shipping Info

SHOPPING:

  • All succulents have been grown with the best of care. and thus, will be free from pests and disease with a well-developed root system.
  • Plants are sent bare-root and will be carefully un-potted and cleaned for shipping.
  • All plants will be inspected, photographed, labelled, and carefully wrapped in tissue paper before shipping.
  • Product photos shown is from our own studio session unless otherwise indicated and in some cases, from our mother plant collection. Colouration and growth may vary depending on the plant and season. Some plants grow well and look their best in summer and others in winter. Photographs are for illustrative purposes only.
  • Should you not be satisfied with the quality of the plant, you are welcome to return it to us for a full replacement, or credit voucher/ coupon in case the plant is no longer in stock.

Shipping:

All confirmed orders are processed a 1st come 1st serve basis. We ship orders every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Orders received on Fridays & during weekends, will be processed on Monday.

Before packaging and shipping, we inspect and photograph each plant order to ensure they meet our strict quality standards.

We use PostNet / Courier Guy to send parcels nation-wide.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS:

Our refund and returns policy last 14 days. If 14 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full, partial refund or exchange.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Should we receive a plant that’s been damaged or diseased, a partial refund will be processed at the discretion of Fatty Plants Nursery.
  • Plants should reach us no later than 14 days from date of purchase. Late parcels will only be eligible for a partial refund if received after this time period had lapsed.
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or diseased for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery:

There are certain situations where no refunds or replacements are granted:

  • Should we receive a plant that’s been severely damaged and cannot be rehabilitated.
  • Should we receive a plant that we did not supply in the original order.
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after date of sale.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment or a credit voucher will be issued, within a certain amount of days.

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items are not returnable

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded. Gift cards are not refundable and may only exchanged for product.

Exchanges:

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Return Shipping: You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
