Orbea pulchella is an attractive mat-forming, perennial, leafless succulent with short grey, knobbly, 4-angled stems with sulphur-yellow flowers covered with numerous purple-brown dots and specks, smell offensive, attracting carrion flies which thus act as pollinating agents.
