Description

Curio rowleyanus, is a flowering plant in the daisy family Asteraceae. It is a creeping, perennial, succulent vine native to the drier parts of southwest Africa. In its natural environment its stems trail on the ground, rooting where they touch and forming dense mats. The ball like leaves resemble pearls and thus the plant is also known as String of Pearls and is a highly collected plant amongst succulent collectors. They thrive in a cool shady area planted in a hanging basket and can be watered at least twice per week. Plants supplied are grown in a 12cm pot.
