Description
Kalanchoe rhombopilosa, affectionately known as “Pies from Heaven,” is a rare, slow-growing miniature ssucculent, native to Madagascar. This highly sought-after collector’s item features thick, fan-shaped, silvery-green leaves beautifully mottled with coppery-brown markings. With its compact growth habit and distinctive crinkled leaf margins that resemble a pinched pie crust, it adds an instant sculptural element to any desktop, windowsill, or succulent arrangement.
- Light: Thrives in bright, indirect light or morning sun. Give it plenty of light to keep its silvery powder and vivid brown speckles pronounced. Protection from scorching afternoon sun is recommended.
- Water: Use the “soak and dry” method. Water thoroughly only when the gritty succulent soil mix has dried out completely. Reduce watering significantly during winter dormancy.
- (Note: Kalanchoe varieties can be slightly toxic if ingested, so please keep this unique beauty out of reach of curious pets.)
