Description
Huernia x loeseneriana hybrid we created via hand pollination between Huernia thuretti & huernia loeseneriana. It is a prolific grower and prefers shaded areas with indirect light. Water sparingly in winter – once every 2 weeks – or when they stems appear wrinkly. Increase watering to once per week in summer. Plant in a well draining soil medium that promotes strong roots. Ensure the soil is dry before watering. As with all huernias, they are susceptible to wooly mealy bug and scale. Apply a preventative treatment with a systemic insecticide every 3 to 4 weeks.
Plants on offer are seed grown in a 10cm pot.
