Description
Haworthia mutica byakuya x retusa hybrid is a beautiful rosette forming dwarf succulent. This unique plant was cross pollinated by hand. The parentage includes H. mutica byakuya and H. retusa. it features a striking resemblence to mostly that of H. mutica bykuya.
Plants on offer are approx 2 and a half years old and is between 4 and 6 cm across.
They are mostly dormant in the summer periods . They prefer bright indirect light and will change to a bronzy colour when sun stressed. For the best results plant in Japanese pumice or akadama. Alternatively use a well draining soil mix with fine compost, fine coco coir and pearlite. Always ensure the roots are dry or almost dry between watering. Avoid watering on very hot days. Prolonged exposure to wet or very moist soil might cause root rot.
