Euphorbia polygona, also commonly known as the ‘African Milk Barrel,’ is a spiny succulent shrub with spine waviness. This winter-dormant plant is cylindrical in shape and has sharp ridges lined with thorns. This species is dioecious, with male and female flowers occurring on different plants.
