Water: Water deeply but infrequently during spring and summer (every 10–14 days once the soil is fully dry). In fall and winter, cut back to once a month or less—this South African native loves a proper dry dormancy. Temperature: It enjoys 18–30 °C in the growing season and tolerates down to 5 °C; protect from frost.
