Description
Haworthia cooperi var.truncata is an evergreen succulent with blue-green leaves and translucent tips. The leaves are arranged in a rosette shape and form dense clumps. They are native to the Western Cape of South Africa. Haworthias typically grows under other shrubs and grasses in habitat and thus the species developed unique translucent “windows” that allows light to enter the plant for photosynthesis to occur. Haworthia’s can tolerate regular watering, however they do not le their roots to be exposed to wet and moist soil for prolonged periods of time. Ensure you make use of a well draining soil medium such as akadama or japanase pumice stones and alwasy ensure the soil is dry before watering. Haworthias prefer filtered sunlight, so ensure the palnts are not exposed to direct sun. 40 to 60% shade net will do suffice to ensure they receive enough sun light.
